Abba Darsach, a 19-year-old IDF soldier who was fatally wounded on Monday while traveling in a civilian vehicle, died today of his wounds. His funeral will be held at the Mount Herzl Cemetery in Jerusalem.
As you may recall, Darsach was injured after falling from a passenger vehicle on Road 6 in the section between the Horshim Interchange and the Eyal Interchange.
MDA medics and paramedics treated the soldier and evacuated him to Beilinson Hospital in an unstable condition with a head injury while he was anesthetized and respirated.
A senior paramedic riding an MDA motorcycle, Assaf Wadai, said: "The wounded man was lying on the road unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury.
We provided him with medical treatment that included stopping bleeding, giving life-saving medication and we breathed it in. "
