The temporary exemption of the head of the Rostock University Medical Center, Christian Schmidt, is being heard at the regional court of the Hanseatic city today.
According to the court, Schmidt's application for an interim injunction aims to continue to be employed as medical director and chairman of the board of Unimedicine under unchanged conditions.
Rostock - Reasons for the release at the end of August were not disclosed by Unimedizin.
Schmidt has been working at the clinic since 2014.
In 2018 he had already been released as a medical director after alleging dubious business practices.
Then he was reinstated in his office - the allegations could not be substantiated.
The Rostock public prosecutor's office had dropped the case at the time.
