This morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a son of the occupied Syrian Golan.

SANA’s reporter stated that the occupation forces stormed the village of Majdal Shams and arrested Salman Awad from his house against the background of the vigil that our people carried out in Masada village yesterday, in refusal to increase the number of settlements on their land and to establish (wind turbines) on an area of ​​approximately six thousand dunums of the lands of the villages of Majdal Shams and Ain Qniyah, Baqatha and Masada.

The occupation authorities had announced a new plan to establish seven thousand settlement units on the land of the occupied Syrian Golan with the aim of increasing the number of settlers from 40 to 100 thousand, within the framework of the occupation’s plans to change the demographic, geographical and legal character of the Golan, in flagrant violation of the resolutions of international legitimacy and the Charter of the United Nations.
