The Ministry of Health announced today (Wednesday) that the isolation obligation for a vaccinated or recovering parent caring for a minor under the age of 12 or a sick helpless patient has been abolished.
The decision was made with a change in the definition of vaccinated and recovering in the State of Israel, which was launched earlier this month.
Remember, a "vaccinated" is someone who has been vaccinated with three vaccine doses or someone who has been vaccinated with two vaccine doses and less than six months have passed since the date of receiving the second vaccine dose.
"Recovering" is a person who has not yet passed six months from the date of recovery or who has recovered and received at least one vaccine dose.
As mentioned, this is significant news for parents of children, who had to go into isolation with their children and lost work days.
Slight increase in the coefficient of adhesion
