The newly elected state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania meets exactly one month later, on October 26th, for its constituent session.
This was announced by a spokeswoman for the SPD parliamentary group after a so-called pre-council meeting on Wednesday.
The parliament has 79 members.
The largest parliamentary group is the election winner SPD, the second largest the AfD.
Schwerin - This is followed by the CDU, the Left, the Greens and the FDP.
