Tried to smear the FBI: The "spies" put secret information in a peanut butter sandwich Israel today

New details about the serious espionage case in the US, involving a nuclear submarine operator along with his partner • The couple's attempt to contact the friendly country led to a joint sting operation, in which the FBI located the memory card with the secret information

"The serious espionage affair recently uncovered in the U.S. continues to provide surprises. The couple Jonathan and Diana Tabby were arrested about a week ago in the state of West Virginia after trying to spy for a friendly state and now it turns out they were trying to smuggle secrets about the U.S. nuclear submarine array." In particularly strange ways.

It turns out that Tabby, who worked in the U.S. Navy as in charge of nuclear submarines, made a peanut butter and jam sandwich in which he put an e-card with the classified information.

While his wife looked around to make sure there was no one around, he then placed the sandwich at the collection point where it was pre-arranged with an agent with whom they were in contact after contacting the state embassy on their own initiative.

But the couple did not know that in fact the "representative" of the foreign country with whom they were in contact was in fact an impersonating FBI agent who trapped them, in cooperation with the friendly country that informed the American authorities about the security failure.

When the agent collected the package he found the 16GB memory card, which was "wrapped in cling film and between two halves of bread slices of a peanut butter sandwich and jam," the indictment alleges.

The sandwich was in a plastic bag.

Inside the memory card were various secrets and also more information about the way he wanted to maintain contact with the foreign country.

Although the FBI did not specify which friendly country the couple wanted to pass on the information to, it may be Australia.

Diana Tabby was among Trump's biggest opponents, saying on social media that she wanted to move to Australia after being elected president.

The pilgrimage also took place during Trump's tenure.

In this context it should be noted that Australia has indeed received approval from the US to receive sensitive security information on nuclear submarine technology as part of a new security alliance with the US and UK.
