The winning photo of the 2021 "Wildlife Photographer Of The Year" competition was an underwater image captured by French photographer Laurent Ballesta.
The photograph was taken in a biosphere reserve in Farakava, French Polynesia, and shows a group of fish emerging from a cloud of eggs and sperm.
The contest, organized by the London Museum of Natural Sciences, received a record number of images with more than 50,000 submissions from 95 countries.
