Fawzia Koofi is not one to give up, she who was the very first Afghan woman to lead a political party, then the very first to hold the vice-presidency of the National Assembly.
Armed with her outspokenness, she tirelessly campaigns for the education of girls, especially in her own remote province of Badakhshan, and has not hesitated to participate in the peace negotiations started last year in Qatar between the Taliban authorities. and the former government of Kabul.
It was also in Doha that she took refuge at the end of August with her two daughters.
