Eleven people were injured in an explosion in the eastern Afghan province of Kunar today.
And the Chinese Xinhua news agency quoted a local health official as saying, "The explosion occurred in a crowded place in the city of Asadabad, the provincial capital, and injured 11 people," without specifying the nature of the explosion, which no party has claimed responsibility for.
