The Iranian chief of staff met in Islamabad with his counterpart in Java and Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, who said: "We are committed to strengthening cooperation with Tehran."

"We must expand relations, including in the area of border security and defensive cooperation," Iranian Chief of Staff Muhammad Bakri said in a visit to Pakistan yesterday (Wednesday) with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

On the other hand, Imran Khan praised the President of Iran, the "hangman from Tehran" Ibrahim Raisi, with whom he met on the sidelines of a conference of the Shanghai Organization for Cooperation held in the capital of Tajikistan - Dushanbe.

"We are committed to strengthening ties with Tehran, with an emphasis on security, the military, the economy, border security and the economy," Khan said.

The two also talked about an issue that bothers them very much - Afghanistan.

"There is no military solution to Afghanistan's problems," the Pakistani prime minister said.

"The right way is to form a government that includes all the population groups in Afghanistan."

Even before the meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Bakri met with his Pakistani counterpart, Kamar Jawad in Java. The Iranian chief of staff is only discussing security ties with him, with an emphasis on the region in general and Afghanistan in particular. .

Israel has recently stepped up diplomatic activity on the issue of the Iranian nuclear program, with the aim of getting the international community to act quickly.

In a statement issued yesterday by Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, along with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and US Secretary of State Abdullah Ben-Zayd, he said: "At the heart of my visit here is the concern about Iran's race for nuclear capability. "Another of the negotiations is bringing Iran closer to the bomb."

And now, Bakri's meeting with Pakistani seniors with offensive nuclear capabilities, in Islamabad, is certainly not contributing to concerns in Jerusalem.
