The city of al-Hasakah is in service to accommodate students coming from several neighborhoods due to the practices of the “Qasd” militia backed by the American occupation forces.
Al-Hasakah Director of Education, Elham Sourkhan, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the school accommodates in two half-times 2,000 students from the western and eastern al-Nashwa neighborhoods, al-Sharia and Habu lands, after the “Qasd” militia seized the schools and prevented teaching according to the curricula approved by the Ministry of Education, indicating that the school reduces the number of students. The situation of overcrowding in other schools and contribute to reducing the numbers in one class section.
Over the past years, the Al-Hasakah Education Directorate has installed 91 prefabricated classrooms in the cities of Al-Hasakah and Qamishli to reduce overcrowding and accommodate the largest possible number of students after the “Qasd” militia took over the schools.
