According to a media report, a new evacuation flight with people from Afghanistan will land in Germany on Thursday evening.
As the newspapers of the "Funke Mediengruppe" report, citing government circles, the plane is supposed to land in Leipzig around 9 p.m.
Accordingly, there are 219 people who have flown from Afghanistan on board.
Of these, 21 people are to travel on to other EU countries.
According to the report, the machine comes from Islamabad, Pakistan.
The people who were flown out were former members of the Bundeswehr and other institutions, as well as other Afghans who had received an acceptance letter for humanitarian reasons.
On Monday, the Federal Ministry of the Interior put the total number of people who had been brought to Germany because the radical Islamic Taliban came to power in Afghanistan at around 6,100.
