President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will meet with Pope Francis later this month during his trip to Rome for the G20, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement.

"The President and Dr. Biden will also visit Vatican City and have an audience with His Holiness Pope Francis on October 29. They will discuss how to work together in efforts based on respect for fundamental human dignity, including putting end the covid-19 pandemic, address the climate crisis and care for the poor, "Psaki said in a statement.

Biden will attend the G20 summit in Rome on October 30 and 31, Psaki said.
