Other employees at the company added that Maron was always ready for action, and went out to photograph road accidents and other emergencies.
He is survived by his wife and three children.
According to a preliminary police investigation into the circumstances of the accident, it appears that Maron's car collided head-on with a truck on Road 4, near the Ein Carmel junction.
As a result of the collision, the truck driver was lightly injured.
