With coaching projects, people looking for work in the flood region in the Ahr valley are to be supported in coping with their everyday lives.
The aim of the programs is to improve the living and living situation in such a way that the job search is made easier, the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Labor announced on Thursday.
The projects start this Friday.
Mainz - The support ranges from the procurement of washed away identity documents to the search for a new apartment or the creation of new application documents.
The coaches acted as guides to existing support and advice offers.
The “Holistic Coaching in the Flood Region” projects were initiated by the Ministry with the Mayen-Koblenz Employment Agency and the Ahrweiler Job Center.

The total costs of the projects, which will run until the end of 2022, amount to around 390,000 euros.
The state contributes around 275,000 euros.
The rest is financed from funds from the Mayen-Koblenz Employment Agency and funds from the Ahrweiler Job Center.
So the coaching could be offered free of charge for those affected, it said.
