INTERVIEW - While France is preparing to pay homage to Samuel Paty, this former professor, doctor of political science, publishes a book in which he delivers an analysis of the events which led to the assassination of the teacher.

- Why did you choose to write a book on this subject and how did you work?

David DI NOTE.

Two years ago, alongside my activity as a novelist, I taught French and philosophy in a technical high school.

An excellent experience which I have fond memories of.

In October 2020, when Samuel Paty was assassinated, I was gripped by this story.

I felt particularly concerned, first as a human being, but also because I had this experience as a teacher.

The same day, I understood that something had to be done and I got started.
