No more buffet: the integrative restaurant and conference center Viva Vita in Freising will be using a new concept in the future.

Freising

- The integrative restaurant and conference center Viva Vita of Lebenshilfe Freising has started the new season with a fresh kitchen concept.

"The forced Corona break hurt everyone: our guests and employees with and without disabilities," explains Head Christian Burger.

“But we used the time to develop a completely new concept for the conference center and restaurant.

After a trial phase in summer, we now want to present it to our loyal and new guests. "

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Instead of the buffet, which is no longer up-to-date for lunch, a changing dish of the day is freshly prepared.

In addition, as a new offer, dishes adapted to the season for small but also large appetites would come to the fore.

"VivaVital" is a motto of the new concept.

As a special highlight, there is a buckwheat husk with healthy ingredients on the menu every day.

“Our goal is light and fresh cuisine that also takes vegan nutrition into account,” says Burger.

"This is guaranteed by our new chef Freddy Lebouc with his vast experience in Mediterranean cuisine".

New offer for training guests

An excerpt from the current menu shows that: homemade olive bread with scampi, salmon tartare or vegan leek and onion spread, tagliatelle Scampi Provinciale, vegan red cabbage strudel with cranberry soy sauce. In addition, sweet “Dolce Vita” with half-frozen apple and coconut parfait, dark chocolate mousse or crème brûlée. "Our guests should be able to put their own individual menu together," says the passionate chef Lebouc. “A very attentive service and good organization in the kitchen ensure that everything runs smoothly. This is especially important for guests who take advantage of our offerings during their lunch break. ”The restaurant is open on weekdays from 12 noon to 2 pm, but also in the evening or on the weekend for celebrations.

"There is a new all-day snack for our training guests in the Viva Vita conference center," continues Christian Burger.

It can be freely determined when, where and how much is eaten.

A mixture of freshly prepared hot and cold snacks is offered.

“We also want to offer this new snacking concept outside the home - for catering services or as a daily snacking service for companies in the region.

We are looking for suitable partner companies for this.

We want to offer our guests a breath of fresh air and new ideas from now on. ”
