The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 39 deaths and 857 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
Khaled Mujahid, the official spokesman for the ministry, said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 314,977, while the total number of deaths has reached 17,806.
Mujahid indicated that 899 people recovered from infection with the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 265,663 people to date.
Yesterday, Egypt recorded 39 deaths and 857 infections with the Corona virus.
