This coming Shabbat we will read in the synagogue the Parshas Lech Lech, in which the Torah tells us about the trials that the Blessed One passed on to Avraham Avinu. From these attempts we draw to this day mental strength to face the challenges that life brings us.

Admor Rabbi Pinto, head of the fathers of courts in Morocco, explains how you can learn from Abraham to everyday life for all of us.

So Rebbe, Rabbi Pinto writes:

If we look at all ten attempts last difficult and existential Abraham stood boldly and strength in all of them, try to understand Where did our ancestor Abraham get these powers from and what was his secret to going through these difficult trials?

So perhaps we can clarify and say a great element, the Holy Torah tells us (Deuteronomy 21:10) "that you will go to war against your enemies" It would be more correct to say that you will come to war against your enemy or that you will have war with your enemy, what does it mean "that you will go to war "?

How did Abraham our father withstand all the trials?

But one has to clarify and say a great foundation, each person goes through ten trials and each trial is a different trial, the people go from one trial to another and they think that with the same tools they went through and won the previous attempt, they will beat the other attempt.

For example, when God said to our ancestor Abraham, "Go away from your land and from your homeland and from your father's house," the attempt was to leave the family, the house, and go somewhere else.

In every attempt, the mental strength and daring needed to deal with it are different. Most of the world when faced with experience they build tools for themselves how to deal with the experience, and when the experience is over and go into another experience, they come with the same tools that won the previous attempt and try with the same tools to beat the second attempt. But there they fail and there they fall, because in every experience the forces of mind and thought, man's confidence and vision of life must change from end to end.

A person who wants to take from the previous experience the mental forces he built in the previous experience and deal with the new experience, he will surely fail in that attempt. Therefore man should always look at life in a new way, constantly look at the trials and struggles of life in a new way and not what I won yesterday, I will win today. What I thought yesterday, is what will help me with today's thoughts. Every day the thoughts change, every day the passions change and every day the struggles change, yesterday's war is not today's war. The weapon we fought and won with is not the weapon we will fight and win today.

"Because you will go to war" Every day is a new outing to war.

Abraham our father in ten trials, every day faced new trials, with new vision and new thought.

Whoever looks at life this way will surely win the trials.

But he who every day looks at the strengths he has and with the same strengths trying to go on and on with life in the new struggles, will surely fail and fail and succeed in nothing.

This was the secret that Abraham our father in his power passed the ten trials and defeated them.
