A fire broke out on Wednesday evening in a semi-detached house in Plau am See (Ludwigslust district).
When the emergency services arrived, the half of the house in the Karow district was already completely on fire, the police reported.
The emergency services could no longer have prevented the fire from spreading to the other half of the semi-detached house.

The semi-detached house in which the fire broke out was uninhabited.
The extinguishing and clearing work lasted until the early hours of the morning on Thursday.
