Saxony-Anhalt's economy is to be revitalized with a "restart program".
Prime Minister Reiner Haseloff (CDU) announced this in a government statement on Thursday in the state parliament.
The promotion of investments "should help companies that are particularly affected by the consequences of the corona measures," said Haseloff.
The program should also contain approaches to revitalize inner cities, inner-city retail and to strengthen tourism.
Magdeburg - In his speech, Haseloff outlined the course for the next five years at the beginning of his third term in office.
Saxony-Anhalt has been ruled by a coalition of CDU, SPD and FDP since September.
