They met on the net: Poingers and girls sent each other provocative pictures.

Now the man was on trial for youth pornography.

Ebersberg - A 19-year-old trainee from Poing had an accident at work.

His left knee was in the bucket.

While he was in the trauma clinic for several weeks, he met a girl on Instagram.

The two exchange cell phone numbers and write to each other.

In doing so, they practically developed a small online relationship.

Within two weeks, the girl started sending him several nude photos and asked for pictures of him.

The 19-year-old obeyed and photographed his genitals twice.

However, since the girl was only 14 years old, the man found himself three years later before the Ebersberg district court.

The public prosecutor accused him of distributing and possessing youth pornographic material.

Trial for the dissemination of youth pornography: the initiative clearly came from the girl

The now 23-year-old told judge Dieter Kaltbeitzer that the girl wrote to him at the time that she was already 17 years old.

"Did you know that it would also have been punishable if she had been 17?" The judge asked back.

The man said no, surprised.

He would hardly have written with the girl after the said two weeks.

That is why "the contact then went flat," said the defendant.

The court then read through the chat history of the two.

In fact, it was not clear to the defendant in the conversation that the young woman was actually younger than 17.

The girl suddenly sent photos of her body on her own initiative and requested photos from him.

"You can clearly see that the initiative came from the girl," summarized Kaltbeitzer.

Because photos were sent by mutual agreement: Poinger gets away with a fine

Since the Poinger was still living with his parents at the time and was in training, juvenile criminal law came into play in the process.

The judge and the public prosecutor agreed that the accused could be credited with the fact that he did not have a criminal record, that he had fully admitted the act and that he visibly regretted it.

In addition, the chat was more than three years ago and the sending was consensual at the time.

So they left it with a fine of 600 euros on the Ebersberg bridge.

The convict accepted the sentence in court.
