Julia (8) from Berlin has been missing near the Bavarian-Czech border since Sunday.

The search came to a successful end, probably thanks in part to the search dogs.

All forest roads and forest paths were driven several times, many hiking trails and large forest areas were also searched by emergency services - often with the help of long human chains.

The girl disappeared below the Cerchov on Sunday.

Already on Monday morning there were indications from the sniffer dogs that Julia (8) might have got lost in the direction of Fichtenbach in the Czech Republic.

This is one of the reasons why the operations management of the aid organizations positioned themselves at the Furth im Wald border crossing in order to be able to coordinate all further measures.

Ultimately, the girl was found there by a forester, as the press release concludes.
