Nuremberg - On Wednesday (October 13th) a stranger attacked a shopping market on Rothenburger Strasse in Nuremberg shortly before 8 p.m.
There were no customers in the store at the time.
The man put a shopping bag on the counter in front of a cashier.
He claimed he had a firearm and asked for cash.
The woman refused, however, whereupon the man fled, as the Police Headquarters Middle Franconia * reported.
Nuremberg: search with helicopter without success
The police immediately started a manhunt around the market, but remained unsuccessful despite the use of a police helicopter.
The perpetrator is said to be around 30 years old and 1.80 meters tall, with a normal stature.
He was dressed in a black jacket and a black cap with a hood pulled over it.
He also wore silver shoes and spoke the Franconian dialect.
