Contrary to the original announcement, CSU boss Markus Söder will not be a guest at the Junge Union's Germany Day in Münster.
A party spokesman confirmed this on Thursday.
The Süddeutsche Zeitung had previously reported.
Instead, Söder will attend a CSU basic conference in Bavaria on Saturday.
Numerous CDU top politicians have announced themselves to the three-day meeting of the Union's youngsters, which begins on Friday.
