Under tightened security precautions, a criminal case against five men began on Thursday in Braunschweig after shooting at a hostile family.
The defendants, aged between 20 and 32, are said to have tried to kill at least one person in Braunschweig in April.
The public prosecutor accuses the two Germans, two Turks and a Tunisian, among other things, of attempted manslaughter.
Braunschweig - (2 KLs 859 Js 20171/21 (19/21))
All of the accused stated at the start of the trial in the regional court that they did not want to comment on the allegations.
