The custom of asking neighbors for sweets is prohibited, not during Corona times.

Nevertheless, the NRW Ministry of Health urges you to be considerate.

Düsseldorf - Disguised as a witch, vampire or zombie: With a view to the corona rules, the NRW Ministry of Health has warned for Halloween to be considerate.

In creepy costumes and with gruesome make-up, many children like to go from door to door on October 31st and demand sweets from the neighbors with the slogan “Trick or Treat”.

"At Halloween we refer to the consideration that is required everywhere," said the ministry.

Especially since these are spontaneous visits, which many people are probably still very cautious about.
