Zion added: "I would not have gone to mediation if they had not promised that they would record that the complainant cursed me. I take responsibility regardless of how difficult it is for me on a personal level."

In the sentencing arguments, the prosecution representative said that Naor Zion had a criminal case that ended without a conviction from 2017. Zion, for his part, ran towards that man, turned him around with his hands so that he was standing in front of him and pushed him back while threatening him: "Who do you think you are talking to? I will kill you."

He then punched him in the jaw with a punch.

The complainant asked to call the police and then a lawsuit began again between the two, during which the man warned Zion that he was expected to undergo surgery and asked that he not be harmed.

At this point, according to the indictment, the entertainer punched the complainant's jaw again until he was stopped by passers-by.

Defense attorney Adv. Amiram tried to request that the indictment be shelved, but without success. Adv. Anat Gush Halav, that the prosecution's position is for conviction, in light of the seriousness of the acts, when it is expected that the defendant, who is a public figure, knew how to control his emotions and actions - even if he was in an emotional storm at the time.

On the other hand, defense attorney Adv. Amiram said at the time that a criminal conviction could fatally harm Zion and his career.
