Objections to the validity of the state elections of September 26th have been received by the regional election management.
Their number is in the lower double-digit range, said state returning officer Gudrun Beneicke on Thursday at the request of the German Press Agency.

She does not want to anticipate the responsible election review committee of the state parliament, so Beneicke.
Objections to the validity of the election can therefore be raised until October 25th.
"The objection must be raised in writing or for the record stating the reasons at the election management", she explained.
The state election control then pass the objections to the election review committee of the state parliament for examination.
After the state elections in 2016, 20 objections to the validity were received.
They were all dismissed by the electoral review committee.
