Regensburg - For nine years, visitors have been flocking to the Handmade Fair - because the trend towards sustainability is making waves.
Under the motto “Handmade in Regensburg”, creative minds can take part in workshops, hands-on activities and lectures on recycling, upcycling and do-it-yourself programs from October 22nd to 24th, 2021.

Iris Eibel will kick off the W1 on Friday (October 22nd) and will tell you what the “Fair Trade Seal” means.
Julia Liedtke, fashion designer at the “Mariejuliee” store, speaks about “sustainable fashion” and the DIY experts Josephine Kirsch and Antonia Pröls give a lecture on “independence in the creative sector”.
Regensburg: First the theory, then the practice
On Saturday, visitors can get active themselves and take part in the upcycling workshop, in which, among other things, they sew bum bags from old clothes or attend a printing party.
During the opening hours of the W1, the exhibition “Hand_Werk_Zeug” by Klara Hahn, which deals with people, handcraft and hands as tools, is available.
