The crack that goes noticeably through the Pastetten parish deepened in the parish council on Tuesday.

The Reithofen-Harthofen voter group (WRH), which is represented on the committee by Susanne Gerster and Alois Huber, had submitted two applications on the subject of the fire station.

However, both failed.

Pastetten

- The proposal envisages building a new house for the Pastetten fire brigade and then upgrading the old house so that the Reithofener Wehr can move in. From the point of view of the WRH, this would have several advantages: "It will be cheaper because, according to the current calculation, only five million euros would be incurred," said Gerster. In addition to the seven million euros for a semi-detached house, you have to add around one million euros for a new access road. With their solution, the sports field could also be fully preserved. This suggestion came from Andreas Wagner (BIG) at the last meeting and was supported by Hans Kerschbaum (FWE). If the motions were approved, one could also save the two referendums, Gerster continued.

Andreas Winner (FWE) questioned the estimated million for the new construction of the street.

“You have to buy the property, and you need a special surface for the heavy vehicles,” argued Gerster.

Horst Ippisch (FWE) doubted that: "This is no exit for the emergency vehicles."

Winner called the cost calculations of the project group: "A house costs 4.8 million euros, the renovation 860,000 euros, of which 178,000 euros are eligible." That makes just under 5.4 million.

If one calculates the renovation for the sports field from the seven million euros for the semi-detached house, 80 percent of which is eligible, the difference is just 300,000 euros.

Gerster doubted this calculation: "For a single house, the cost estimate was never optimized."

Kerschbaum interjected that it had been clearly established in the project meeting that it was not worth renovating the old house: “That is absolute nonsense.” This opinion had also come from the ranks of the Pastetten fire department.

Kerschbaum called the fact that he had agreed to the idea "a story of lies".

The WRH quoted him in the wrong context - "I would never vote for it".

For Christian Lorenz (Greens) the suggestion is unsustainable because a weir with 90 active members does not fit into “a house with 66 lockers”.

In addition, a new house would have to be built for the people of Reithofen in ten years, so it would be more expensive overall.

Both votes ended with nine votes against the pro votes of Gerster, Huber, Matthias Zimmerer (CSU), Wagner and Mayor Peter Deischl (FWE).

He and his deputy, Roswitha Bayer-Siegling (FWE), were also appointed as voting leader and deputy for the referendums on November 21.

In this context, Gerster said that she presented the question of the referendum on the location of the fire brigades, which arose from the request for a council, to two lawyers.

"The question violates the requirement of objectivity, is not legally in order and is misleading," she concluded.

The question suggests that a location would be cheaper.

"If that is not changed, we will appeal," announced Gerster.

A lawsuit at the administrative court takes a lot of time.

Therefore ask them to "think about it again".

“The Reithofen fire brigade wants to delay the construction further,” raged Kerschbaum.

Gerster: "This is only about the question with which the community citizens are lied to." Winner wanted to know whether the legal supervision in the district office had concerns.

Deischl said no.

"I don't care, I asked two very good lawyers," said Gerster.

Ippisch wanted to know who would then file a lawsuit.

"Mrs. Gerster and Mr. Zimmerer?

Or the WRH?

Or the CSU parliamentary group? ”Gerster:“ You will see that. ”Ippisch said that one could“ look forward to it calmly ”because the local authority had no objections.
