The chairman of the Bundestag election review committee, Patrick Sensburg (CDU), sees “objective violations of the electoral law” in the election to the Berlin House of Representatives on September 26th.
"The results were sometimes so tight that the violations could have been relevant to the mandate," he told the "Heilbronner Voice" (Thursday).
“But even in the federal election we have to assess exactly what happened in Berlin.
Berlin - I don't believe in individual cases that had no impact. "
On election day there had been breakdowns in many Berlin election offices.
Among other things, false ballot papers were issued, and after a long wait, some voters were only able to cast their votes after 6 p.m.
The Berlin state electoral committee presented the final result of the elections to the House of Representatives and the district councils on Thursday.

Three elections, one referendum, five ballot papers, six crosses - the organizers in Berlin probably underestimated the amount of time that some of the voters needed to cast their votes.

It should also be a question of whether the polling has to be repeated in individual of the 78 constituencies or in one or the other electoral district.
It is extremely unlikely that the entire election will have to be repeated in Berlin.
