Prime Minister honors Schlierseer

More than 50 volunteers from the fields of culture, sport and the social sector received the badge of honor from Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) on Tuesday - including Karl Kögl from Schliersee.


More than 50 volunteers from the fields of culture, sport and the social sector received the badge of honor from Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) on Tuesday - including Karl Kögl from Schliersee.

Schliersee - Kögl is involved in many ways: In 1974 he founded the Schliersee Music School. Until 2016 he was its honorary executive chairman. In 1984 he founded the women's choir "Singkreis Schliersee", which he also conducted until 2017. Since 2012 he has been the website administrator at the Schliersee horticultural association, and since 2014 member of the board for public relations at the Schliersee neighborhood aid. In addition, Kögl is the online editor of the Alt-Schlierseer Trachtengruppe homepage, moderator of the “Klingendes Schliersee” spa concerts and advisory board member of the Schliersee Tourist Association.
