68 years have passed since the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians in the village of Qibiya, northwest of Ramallah in the West Bank, in one of the most heinous crimes of genocide that the occupation continues to commit without the international community doing an inactive to stop the bleeding of Palestinian blood.

At 7:30 pm on October 14, 1953, the Zionist gangs, led by the war criminal “Ariel Sharon”, surrounded the village, isolating it from its surroundings, and planting mines on the roads leading to it. in a cella.

The massacre began with heavy artillery bombardment on Palestinian homes, then gangs stormed it, and its people confronted it and continued to resist until their ammunition ran out. The Zionist terrorist gangs were not satisfied with that, so they booby-trapped the houses amid heavy shooting to force the Palestinians to stay in them and blow them up over their heads and deprive them of any chance to escape.

The massacre, which was described as the second Deir Yassin massacre, continued until the morning of the fifteenth of October, in which 67 Palestinians were martyred, including families who were completely exterminated, and dozens were injured. 56 homes, the village mosque, school and water tank were destroyed.

The massacre aroused widespread international condemnation, and on the twenty-fourth of November, the UN Security Council issued Resolution No. 101 in which it condemned the Israeli occupation authorities without taking any action to deter the occupation entity and do justice to the Palestinian people.

And the occupation continues to commit massacre after another against the Palestinians and plunder their lands, while the international community's response is limited to statements of condemnation and denunciation, which the occupation sees as a green light to persist in its crimes against the Palestinian people.
