The corona numbers are still at a relatively constant level, but the RKI is again reporting a clear trend.

Berlin - The Corona * situation has been leveling off at a relatively constant level for weeks, the RKI also reported a comparatively low value for the individual parameters on Thursday.

But one thing is clear: all Corona * values ​​tend to rise slightly.

Is there a threat of the fourth wave rising?

As the Robert Koch Institute reported on Thursday morning, the seven-day incidence, i.e. the value of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants and week, rises to a value of 67.0. A comparatively low value, after all, many regions had already cracked marks over 200. The previous day the value was 65.4, a week ago it was 62.6. The health authorities reported a total of 12,382 people who tested positive for the coronavirus to the RKI within the past 24 hours. A week ago, the value was 11,644 infections.

72 deaths were reported to the RKI within the past 24 hours, a week ago the value was 68 cases.

And the number of corona patients admitted to clinics per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days continues to rise.

While the value was 1.70 on Tuesday, the RKI recorded an increase to 1.90 for Wednesday.

For comparison: according to the RKI, the previous maximum value was around 15.5 during the Christmas season.

The WHO has proposed a team of scientists * from around the world as the global pandemic body.
