Bombay - Sana
A new study indicated that stormy weather causes the spread of the “Covid-19” virus.
The study showed, according to the British newspaper, The Independent, that when coughing outdoors, winds blowing in the same direction can cause coronavirus particles to spread faster over longer distances compared to calm conditions.
The study, conducted by researchers from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, stated that even a light breeze of about 5 miles per hour can increase the spread of cough.
Based on the results, the study recommended wearing masks outdoors, especially in windy (or even breezy) conditions, maintaining social distancing and coughing in the elbow, to reduce transmission.
