The Syrian Ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Maya, discussed with the President of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Carricart, ways to enhance trade relations between the two countries.
During a meeting between the two sides at the headquarters of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce in the capital Havana yesterday, Caricart pointed to the need to develop economic relations and trade exchange between the two countries to rise to the level of their distinguished political relations.
For his part, Mia pointed to the strong will of the two countries in terms of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation, especially in light of the current circumstances in which they are subjected to an unjust siege by the United States of America and its partners.
The meeting was attended by Ali Abbas, the diplomatic attaché at the Syrian Embassy in Havana.
