The Observatory predicts that a dry northeast monsoon will reach the coast of South China during the weekend. The weather in Hong Kong will improve and become dry early next week. It will begin to feel the autumn coolness. It is expected that the urban area will see a low of 20 degrees Celsius next Monday, and in many areas in the morning. When the temperature drops to the beginning of 1 again, citizens can finally put on autumn clothes!
Tropical Storm Compasses will cross the Beibu Gulf today and tomorrow, move into northern Vietnam, and gradually weaken.

The compass has crossed Hainan Island and weakened into a tropical storm. It gathered about 240 kilometers southeast of Hanoi at 12 noon. It is expected to move westward at a speed of about 18 kilometers per hour, across the Beibu Gulf, into northern Vietnam, and gradually weakened.
The threat of compasses gradually disappeared, but its outer rainbands still continue to affect the coast of Guangdong. Today, the Double Ninth Festival is mostly cloudy with one or two showers. There will be sunshine for a short period of time in the afternoon, and the breeze will ease to the fresh easterly wind, offshore and occasionally on high ground. With strong winds, the temperature in the urban area ranges from 25 to 29 degrees.
The Observatory predicts that a low-pressure area will bring showers and thunderstorms to the central and northern parts of the South China Sea in the next one or two days. Hong Kong will be generally cloudy tomorrow with occasional showers and thunderstorms. The shortest day will be sunny on Saturday (16th). There were still a few showers.
Cool and dry early next week
A dry northeast monsoon will reach the south China coast during the weekend. Astronomical weather is expected to improve and slightly cooler in the area at the beginning of next week. The slightly cooler morning will be felt on the next Sunday (17th), and the city will see a low 22 Degrees, there is sunshine during part of the time, the weather has become dry, and the minimum relative humidity has dropped to 55%.
By next Monday, the minimum temperature in the urban area is expected to drop to 20 degrees again. With reference to the automatic regional weather forecast, the morning temperature in many districts will drop to the beginning of the letter, and Daguling may be as low as 17 degrees, and the atmosphere of autumn will gradually appear.
Affected by the easterly air currents, there will be more cloud cover and showers along the coast of Guangdong in the middle of next week. The Observatory predicts that there will be showers for 5 consecutive days starting next Tuesday (19th) and thunderstorms next Thursday (21st). It is expected that the weather will remain slightly cooler next weekend. See 21 degrees low.
