The "Golden Hedgehog" ceremony, in which prizes are awarded for fringe performances, will be held on November 26 in Tel Aviv, and will be the culmination of a festival that will open on November 18.

As part of the festival, the performances nominated for the "Golden Hedgehog" award will be presented to the audience.

This morning (Thursday), the "short list" of the nominated plays was published, and it includes 13 plays.

From these, the final and winning candidates will be selected.

The plays included in the shortlist are "Smooth Page" by Michal Savironi, "One Bright Day" by Aryeh Eldar, "And I Can't Change It" by Hila Tomer, "Hide and Seek" by Yiftach Roe, "Inverted Sky" by Ofer Yerushalmi, "Are there cockroaches in Israel?" By Mert Farhumovsky, "Scribbled" by Rotem Nachmani, "The Head" by Yoav Michaeli, "Out of Love" by Eliran Caspi, "A Little House, Who Knows?" By Yael Finkelstein, "The Obsession, the Director's Version" by Avi Gibson Barel, "The Guide to the Search for Donkeys" by Oren Eilam and the musical "The End" by Maayan Even and Guy Ariel.

The Golden Hedgehog management said that the goal "This year we continue to implement the reform we started in 2019, and we had to pause a bit because of the corona, which aims on the one hand to make the Golden Hedgehog a platform that unites all independent theater and fringe members for common discourse and action. .
