The third day of the Tishreen International Cycling Race, organized by the General Sports Federation, concluded in Lattakia, with the participation of 65 male and female players from Russia, Iraq, Sudan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria.
In the individual competitions for the female category for a distance of 55 km, in which 22 contestants from three Syrian teams, two Russian teams and a team from Sudan participated, the Syrian player Sandy Asaad won the first place, the Russian Sofia Bokova came in the second place, and our player Fatima Shouk came in the third place.
In the young women’s category, our players Miran Al-Fares, Sandy Dergham and Amira Al-Olabi came in the first three places, respectively.
Our players Marah Khedir, Sahab Ghaibour and Maryam Khalouf came in the top three places, respectively, in the women's category.
The U-23 category ended with the Russian player Diane Laptova winning the first place, followed by our player Helen Tarraf and then the Sudanese player Maha Shamlas.
Tomorrow, the race competitions will continue with the men's competition for the general singles for the junior, youth and men's categories.
