Sahara air floods the Free State through a storm over Western Europe.
Munich - After a lot of snow in Upper Bavaria, the sun is already showing up again in many places this weekend.
At the beginning of next week there will be a real change in the weather.
According to meteorologist Jan Schenk, this is due to a severe autumn storm * over Western Europe.
This brings "really warm air" to Germany again.

Weather in Bavaria: Sahara air floods the Free State - temperatures jump up
The Weather Channel
even
describes the storm over Western Europe
as a “monster
storm
”.
It's not bad for us, said Schenk.
“The temperatures are jumping up,” explains the expert.
Due to the Sahara air, there will be up to 25 degrees in Germany next week.
“Exceptionally warm for October.” However, these maximum values are only achieved at the edge of the Alps with the help of a foehn.
In the rest of Bavaria, however, it is also warm in summer.
In many places, values around 20 to 22 degrees are possible.
In Munich *, the forecasts currently predict maximum values of 21 degrees.
The warmest day in all of Bavaria will be Wednesday (October 20th).
But even on Monday and Tuesday, the warm air supply can be felt at maximum values of around 18 degrees.
After warm days in Bavaria: the low pressure area brings the autumn cold back
The low pressure area * or the storm will also come to Germany on Thursday or Friday.
The Sahara air withdraws.
"Then the temperatures drop significantly again," says Schenk.
Maximum values of around 10 to 13 degrees are then only possible in Bavaria.
