The Heilbrunn municipal council wants to massively promote the construction of photovoltaic systems and electricity storage systems. A sum of up to 1050 euros per application is under discussion.

The Heilbrunn municipal council wants to massively promote the construction of photovoltaic systems and electricity storage systems.

A sum of up to 1050 euros per application is under discussion.

Bad Heilbrunn - Josef Schröfl promoted the support program that he developed together with his CSU party colleague Oliver Hanke at the Heilbrunn municipal council meeting.

Under the motto “My roof has it”, the focus is on the “urgently needed implementation of the energy transition and CO2 savings”.

The aim is to promote the expansion of renewable energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the community.

"Of course people", property owners and leaseholders are entitled to apply.

The amount of funding depends on the performance of the respective photovoltaic system

Oliver Hanke spoke about the financial magnitude in which the funding should take place.

"It's not about promoting the feed-in into the power grid, but rather what is used in the house itself."

A maximum of seven kilowatts peak are eligible for funding.

Each kilowatt peak should be subsidized with 75 euros.

Adds up to a maximum of 1050 euros.

The problem is that nobody knows exactly how many photovoltaic systems and house storage systems are installed in Bad Heilbrunn each year.

Should the funding amount be capped at 20,000 euros per year?

The Oberland energy transition is based on three to 16 systems. Bayernwerke would not provide any precise information with reference to data protection. Hanke therefore suggested capping the funding amount to 20,000 euros per year: "Then we could fund 20 systems - provided that everyone exhausts the seven kilowatts peak." Overall, however, the application is only a basis for discussion. "There's a lot of brainpower in there," said Mayor Thomas Gründl. It is important that the community send a signal to reduce CO2. "A great approach, a great basis for discussion", praised 3rd Mayor Bernd Rosenberger (Greens). He suggested that the application be forwarded to the Energy Committee, as there were still some unanswered questions. For example, the cap should be discussed: "We have to talk about it,what happens after the 20th applicant. Should the rest go away empty-handed? "

Does everyone get the funding - even if they're a millionaire?

The social component should also be discussed: “Do we support a millionaire just like a family with their little house?” One shouldn't ignore the municipal buildings either: “If, for example, we have a photovoltaic system on the fire station or school Build on it, all citizens benefit from it. ”Nonetheless, Hanke pleaded for a quick implementation:“ We mustn't contrive ourselves. ”It was a voluntary service that could be ended at any time.

Schröfl agreed: “The funding program is easy to handle.

If we add anything to it now, it won't be anything next year either. ”If the 20,000 euros have actually already been awarded in the first half of the year, the local council can think about whether it wants to increase the amount.

Kilian Spindler (Greens) rated the funding program as a “great idea”.

However, there are still many unanswered questions: "We should therefore give the members of the energy committee the opportunity to delve deeply into the matter." Schröfl replied that the municipal councils had ten days to look at the proposal: that we postpone the decision. ”But there was no majority for this.

First of all, the subject goes to the Energy Committee

"I would be very reluctant to reject the application, but I would like to see it in the energy committee," said Manuela Kragler (Greens). Karolina Waldmann (Free Voters) agreed: “It's not a drama when the subject is discussed in the Energy Committee.” Anton Krinner (Free Voters) also found the proposal “good and extremely important. I've studied it long enough. ”But he, too, was of the opinion that the topic is better dealt with in the energy committee for the time being. Ultimately, the committee voted unanimously for details such as the cap and the award criteria to be discussed there.
