The police have exposed two fraudsters who brought an entrepreneur in Panschwitz-Kuckau (Bautzen district) for 150,000 euros in May.
The investigators searched apartments in Leipzig, Panschwitz-Kuckau and Karben in Hesse this week, as the police announced on Friday.
They found a 35-year-old suspect and his 39-year-old accomplice.
Leipzig - The man is now in custody.
Another perpetrator is still wanted.
The accused are said to have established business relationships with their victims under a false identity.
After stealing the money, they immediately cut off contact with the victim.
The entrepreneur then reported to the police.
