Eichenau - Too few Eichenauers have decided on a fiber optic connection so far.

Time is of the essence, because Eichenau is a long way off in order to reach the 40 percent mark that German fiber optics needs for economic expansion.

The bar on October 11th, which can be viewed publicly on the provider's website, showed 16 percent.

That is why

Dennis Domagalski

wants to

do

something for a successful final

spurt

.

He likes to live in Eichenau.

It should be future-oriented - for the citizens and the children.

That is why he and

almost 60 fellow campaigners are campaigning

for fiber optic technology to find its way into Eichenau.

With an information booth and an information event next weekend, they want to help ensure that it still succeeds.

Domagalski has already observed this against his professional background.

At a company that does not appear in Eichenau, he works in fiber optic expansion.

He wants to bring this know-how to the next weekend and try to convince.

“During the lockdown, we all saw how important a good and fast Internet is,” emphasizes the 37-year-old very emphatically and points to “miserably long discussions” about homeschooling and home office - and that a modern network is important for every company.

“The town hall needs it too,” says Domagalski with a little smile.

As a citizen, you also want the community to be up-to-date.

Everyone knows what has become digital in the last ten years or so.

Information booth and event

At the information stand, the 37-year-old family man, whose daughter would benefit from modern technology as a student in a few years' time, will be greeted with questions about the costs of the connection and what is to be done structurally.

The information booth will be set up on October 15 from 4 p.m. and on October 16 from 10 a.m. in front of the Penny in Hauptstraße.

The information event will take place next Sunday, October 17th, at 5 p.m. in the community center (large hall) at Hauptstraße 60 in Eichenau.

The 3G regulations must be observed.
