In some of the 218 municipalities in Saxony-Anhalt, municipal taxes have been increased this year.
In the first six months of the year, these taxes had risen in twelve municipalities, announced the State Statistical Office in Halle on Friday.
These are trade tax for companies and property taxes that citizens who own real estate also have to pay.
Halle - According to statisticians, the property tax for built-up or buildable land was highest in Eisleben and Bad Lauchstädt.
According to the information, the city of Städen was the frontrunner in terms of trade tax, followed by Eisleben.
