After a traffic accident with a seriously injured driver, Autobahn 14 near Magdeburg was closed for hours on Friday.
For an unexplained cause, two cars collided in the early morning hours between Magdeburg-Stadtfeld and the Magdeburg motorway junction, the police said.
A 44-year-old was slightly injured in the second car in the collision.
Magdeburg - According to the current state of knowledge, four other vehicles were slightly damaged by debris.
They were able to continue their journey after the accident had been recorded.
The A14 in the direction of Schwerin had to be closed for five and a half hours for the time of rescue, recovery and traffic accident recording.
The following traffic was diverted at the Magdeburg-Stadtfeld junction.
