Ariel Beit Halachmi is expected to coach the Olympic team at the Universiade this summer, Israel Today has learned for the first time.
The 55-year-old coach, who has coached the reserve team in recent years and even won two European championships with it, will most likely move to the under-25 team.
Oren Aharoni, the coach of Bnei Herzliya, who has coached the youth team in recent years, brought it back to the first tier on the continent and also won the Challenger tournament in Tel Aviv last summer, a leading candidate to coach the reserve team, when Hapoel Haifa coach Elad Hussein was mentioned.
