The government issued a mandatory test announcement late at night. In response to an earlier local confirmed case involving the L452R mutant virus strain, people who had been in 10 specified places during the specified period were required to be tested again, including multiple locations in the airport and Kwun Tong Nianyun Industrial Building. The Center for Health Protection recently collected environmental samples from HACTL at the patient’s work site. A sample from the handle of a microwave oven in the staff lounge tested positive.
