India recorded 16,862 new cases of coronavirus and 379 deaths during the past 24 hours, compared to 246 cases the day before.
According to the latest data from the World Meters website, the total number of HIV infections in the country reached 34 million and 37592, deaths were 451847 cases, while the number of people recovering from the disease reached 33 million and 382100 people.
India ranks second in the world in terms of the number of HIV infections after the United States and third in terms of the number of deaths after the United States and Brazil.
