The Saxon health authorities have reported 874 new corona cases to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) since Thursday.
The so-called seven-day incidence, which shows the new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week, rose to 98.9, as the RKI announced on Friday.
This means that, after Thuringia and Bavaria, Saxony is still one of the three federal states with the highest incidence.
Dresden - Nationwide, the RKI gave the value as 68.7.
Four other people died of or in connection with Covid 19 disease.
Central Saxony (172.5) continued to have the highest incidence in the federal state, the lowest in the Vogtlandkreis (41.1).
